Hi Bob; The adjustment is determined by the amount of the brass shaft that sticks out of the solenoid. The solenoid is on top of the motor, on the right side of the driver, under the gas tank, and attached to the frame. It has a rubber boot over the shaft on the right side. Remove the boot, push on the left side of the solenoid with your finger until all the slack is out of the shaft,then measure .12 to .20 Remember, the piston must be on top at compression. Frank
